Loud Mouse,
Color (paint on) the Spark Plug cap is same as bike color????? Think about it
You're wrong on the spark plug cap, as NGK sold these in black and red. But these where never sold on a CB72 / 77 and where introduced in 1972.

Loud Mous,

Can't you just say "I was wrong about the spark plug cap" ?

Now that's what I like to see -- a very happy man on a great looking bike!

Really?

I believe the context of Loud Mouse's reference to the spark plug caps is that it they are not original, not that they were painted when the bike was repainted. It's possible that spark plug caps exist in every color of the rainbow, but not in the early 60s. Accordingly there's nothing he's "wrong" about.
