CB77 baffles with or with out
I read in the CB77 owners manual that operating the bike without diffusers adversely affects the air fuel mixture but I’ve heard many people take the baffles out to achieve a better sound.
My baffles are in but I am thinking of taking them out.
Is removing them ok?
Thanks

Re: CB77 baffles with or with out
From "Day One" we would remove the baffles off and on and in my case I never changed jets or had a engine problem.
MCM produced a set of chromed long tapper megs and even with the sort of baffle they supplied the CB77 screamed at the similar pitch as the CL72/77 SCRAMBLERS. ..............lm

CB77 baffles
Thanks Lm. Today I took them out. Sounded pretty good in my novice opinion. I couldn’t see how removal of the baffles could affect the air fuel ratio. Thanks again for the information.

Re: CB77 baffles
Usually any time you change the back pressure very much it can effect/affect? the jet size/amount of fuel needed.
