my brother has got his CA77 rebuilt now, but is having trouble starting it. It turns over OK but no sign of firing. When setting the timing, which cylinder is set to TDC?? Left or right when seated on the bike.

To start setting the timing have the line on the end of the points cam down. Set timing for right side at "F".
