Had a trip to see the DSS collection and buy some parts for my new CB400F project on Monday.

Great collection of bikes but missing the mainstream 250/305 models we know and love. Some interesting early bikes and plenty of US-spec 70s and 80s bikes but a little bit cramped & slightly disorganised for me.

Used those in some caving adventures in the early 60's.......worked great until flame blew out and flint got wet!

Caving sounds scary enough without unreliable lighting..... :-)

I think that engine ran on turpentine, also?

Not sure about the turpentine,....... we used gas in the Whizzer, which should have been state of the art at the same time!

BTW, I like the CB400 muffler repair!
