For once a white DREAM with the correct black painted parts.
I move from Burleson back in 1968 and now live in KERRVILLE.
Sure a shame we aren't tat close now. ......................l

GOOD COMMENTS!

Hey Ed Moore! Beth Braun spoke very highly of you and your expertise on Dream restoration. I may be calling on you down the road for advice and possible help on my bike. One question! If a gas tank is left completely empty for an extended period of time, does this have any harmful effects on fuel system?

Lots of things involved like hot/cold/humidity. At times rust in tank, stuck carb slides and dirty carb bowls. Call any time ya think I can help. .................lm

Stand colors

Post by djohns » Fri Jan 11, 2008 9:16 pm

LM noted the color of the side and center stand of the white Dream, and I can visualize back 40+ years as seeing this combination. What were the colors of the stands on the red and blue Dreams. Most of the pics I see are conflicting. Have painted my center stand red. Do I need to change?

If you have a C/CA/72/77 DREAM the center stand and the tail light/license bracket was BLACK. The side stand was ZINC plated. ................lm
