Ed,
If my memory serves me correctly, Steve flew Strega another P51D for several races prior to Vodoo dating back to like 2009 when he was touted as the youngest unlimited pilot on the circuit at 21 years of age. Imagine that...21, flying a P51 at near 500mph. Gotta love it!

I totally hijacked this thread. My apologies to the OP.

Merz, if you're just refreshing yours to be a rider -- as opposed to G-Man's better-than-original 'show-winning' CB72 -- then you're welcome to this for just the cost of shipping from U.K.Merz64cb77 wrote:I'm looking for the rear chain guard for my 67' hawk and was wondering if there is a difference between these part numbers?

I know Tim had a re-pro but Ohio cycle has NOS but the part number ends with 'B'. I just want to be sure that this part will work.
Thanks
I managed to it find whilst digging around in The Little Garage yesterday.

Oh ok great! Thanks e3steve much appreciated!! I've been looking for a guard for a while now but have only come across a few but the cost is way too much. I'd like to restore to showroom condition but right now I want to ride and am concentrating on getting the bike road worthy.
I ll pm you my address. Thanks again
