Hi there, I need a front fender, and these guys are calling this a fender for the early steel legs...but is this not for the later alloy legs??? I thought the straighter mounting in the middle was for the later legs.

That fender is for the later (1966/67) aluminum slider bikes. Some folks think any of the parts with 268 will fit all years. .....................lm
