The small harness in the center is NOS. My main harness was in pretty decent shape so it was a pretty easy fix.
Anyone who can tell me if there is a clear visible difference between the different types of rear grab bars?
Want to buy one, since mine has broken off inside the frame tubes.

The stay was changed (widened) for the rear fender) mount bolts to install through the rubber and that changed the size of the bolt hole in the fender to a larger hole. (1967 ISSUE) .....................lm
Here are some pics of the seat pan from my 67 CL77. My question is how do I mount the seat? My manual is from early model CL77s so it doesn't show how to mount. You will see in hte pictures I post the mounting bolt I have. DO the holes on the mounting stalks just go under the bolt? Is there a rubber grommet that goes in the holes? Help!Glenn-N wrote:Is there a difference in CL72 and 77 seat pans?
Got this one laying around waiting for a fresh powercoat.
Still has the original spikes if I'm correct.
Now I only need a new foam, cover and the trim.

You show an early (CL72) pan...........you need a '67 pan with the different mounts.........and your mounting studs may fit a CB72-77 but you will need proper bolts with rubber cushions, washers, and nuts that mount from the bottom.
Regarding the grab-bar.......rear fender brace.......the '67 requires the unique wider brace because the frame is wider to accommodate the rubber-mounted fender.
If your still looking by this time next year, I will be back from a year-long trip and check my 'inventory'...........
