Head bolt torque
Get as far as putting the head back on my 65 305 and realised that my genuine Honda manual does not give a torque value for the head nuts. Also, anyone know of a source for stainless domed nuts deep enough to replace the originals.

Thanks for the info, I did check out Phil Denton but decided the £52 for the head nuts was just a bit too steep for me so the old ones will be re-used.DJM wrote:Torque setting is 14 - 15 ft.lbs
Try Phil Denton Engineering for replica dome nuts in stainless steel.
