Sticky slides

Post by Jim Stuart » Tue Dec 18, 2007 3:24 pm

What would cause the slides to become sticky overnight? Had the carbs apart, cleaned them with carb cleaner, put everything back. This morning they did not want to move very well. A little pressure on the throttle and they moved, hesitated on the return. Any ideas??

Thanks,

Jim Stuart

Overtightening the carb to manifold can cause then to bind.
