Rare Part???????
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CB77-CAFE ... 7675.l2557
Is this really rare? Listed as "new" then "used" further into description and pictured laying on OEM wraping paper. Deceptive? I think I have a few of these and have tossed a few over the years..........................

Something comes to mind about a fool and his money, but I suppose whatever floats your boat!

It's definitely not OEM, both of mine are marked AA MFG. Redwood City as was the Ebay one.DJM wrote:Pretty sure it's not an OEM part despite the Honda wrapping paper, it certainly won't contribute significantly to engine cooling since the RHS cover isn't on the 'hot' side of the engine anyway.

I don't think the raised area is for cooling but more for strength, these are a heavier casting than OEM. I'm just saying it looks a little deceptive sitting on the Honda paper and referencing the plastic bag making one think it's an OEM part. Some poor soul might think it's some super rare CYB part.

You are correct it isn't HONDA but as so many parts during the time it was cheaper to buy it rather than a HONDA part when you damaged the OEM part. ..............lm
