c77 1964 Starter
Hi guys, new here, I've just pulled a 1964 c77 Dream(Canadian) out of storage after owning it for 10 yrs. 6000 miles last plated 1980. I went through it then it started and ran well first kick, it's been a real joy, all lighting and everything works. The starter spins freely but does not engage is this just from sitting or do I have to dig in behind the alternater? Is this common, I have another motor here that I can rob from. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Glen French
