What Year is my CB77

Sorry for asking possibly a stupid question - I am new to your forum and am unable to find any specific detail regarding what year the bike is based on the VIN number. I see references within various threads pointing out "your bike is a '66 based on the engine number," but where is the resource documents for this info on the forum/web site.

Here.....

There is also a white tag on the wring harness under the tank that gives date of manufacture.

OK, thanks. I have been restoring a '75, CB750F for the last few years and have been a frequent contributor to the SOHC Forum and there is much more model specific detail on the newer Honda's, now getting my feet wet with a little older Honda - appears to be a '66, Superhawk.

Not finding the white tag. I'm seeing a bunch of yellow tape that has since been painted black around the largest portion of the harness on the left side of the neck while sitting on the bike. The PO painted the bike yellow so the tag may have gotten removed, under tape, painted, or there and I can't see it. Does anyone have a picture of what/where this tag is?
