Honda ca77 carb

Post by bluejean » Sun Jul 05, 2015 6:17 pm

I rebuilt my 1965 Honda ca77 carb with a Keyster rebuild kit, and everything ran good. Sat for 2 years cleaned out the carb. Will not fire up, not getting gas. Took off the carb again, used cleaner brushes to clean the jets, set the float height, still no gas! The spring loaded float valve moves freely. What can it be?

Is fuel flowing out of the petcock to the carb?

So is the engine not getting fuel or the carb not getting fuel. Is there fuel in the bowl when you remove it?
