I like the Dreams in blue and red. Black seems a bit too "British" to me. This is my 1962 C72 before and during. I don't have any "after" pics yet..... :-)

Lazy day. I started working on the chain guard/case today. I hadn't really looked at it since I purchased the bike in January and was expecting lots of rust inside. I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't much. And it wasn't painted inside, except at the edges. I guess the grease from the chain kept it protected. Wire brushing took out the dried up mess and degreasing took out the rest. That took some hours. Keeping the skin on my hands was the challenge - lots of sharp edges there. Both sides have a few dings and dents that I'll try to deal with. I'll start stripping off the paint tomorrow or the day after, then de-rusting in the electrolysis tank, then some dent repair before priming.
While cleaning parts that will eventually go back into my right crankcase cover, I decided that the clutch adjuster screw was looking a little beat up. I looked it up on CMS and found that instead of a knurled and slotted socket cap screw that I have, they have it as a plain bolt (part number 92000-06040). Is my cap screw an anomaly added by some previous owner? I kind of like it….
