G'day All, been a while since I was on the Forum, but I have come across an interesting situation. I have a complete CB77 which I hope to start restoration early next year (maybe last this year if I am lucky), I also have a second CB77 frame - but it came with a C72 bottom half, and what I have been led to believe a CB77 top half. This might work out (I am not yet sure).
Meantime I have seen a CB77 with a CB400F engine and it looked great.
So anyone else seen or heard of this bike?. Anyone have any knowledge on what might be required to marry this combination?.
Ok a bit left field, and perhaps loopy, but it did look nice!
Thanks, Arthur

Ask the man who owns one.
A few years ago, I rode to Mio, Michigan, to visit Eugene, a clever fellow who has put
several four-cylinder engines into CB77 frames. I saw one that he had in progress,
but he was working instead on a CB-X or two that attracted him.
He was not easy to find, but I managed.
His e-mail address at the time was
tbird@gct21.net
If you search this forum for that handle, you will see a nine-year-old conversation
about a seat, but I did not find anything newer.
He is a resourceful fellow, and I think his machines are pretty and reliable.
