I am powder coating my bike. I am at the swing arm and noticed the rubber bushing around the rear fork pivot bushing. (Number 7 on the attachment). I can't find any reference to this.
Since powder coating cures at 400 degrees, I need to remove this rubber. How do I do this and how do I find a replacement?
Does anyone have more detail on this part of the bike?
Does this rubber go through, or does it just cover the surface?

Powder coating swingarmMike,
I too had concerns with baking my swingarm during the powder coating process. Loudmouse advised me it shouldn't hurt them and to give it a try. I did and there appeared to be no adverse affect on the bushings. I believe he said he had replacements if needed, at least for my CL77. You might want to check with him to see if he has new ones for your CA though before baking your's. Gary '65 CL77 Owner
