Speedometer gearbox disassembly
Hi as detailed on previous page seal is 34X48X6.5 which I can't find listed by UK bearing/seal suppliers though 34X48X7.0 is listed and would probably fit as there seems to be enough room to accommodate an extra 0.5mm. As the seal only has to retain grease and not be oil tight I have reused my carefully removed original..

Many thanks for that. I have been looking at turning an early Dream speedo drive into an early CB72 speedo drive by swapping out the gears. They have opposite rotations and a couple of other small differences so not directly interchangeable... :-(
