Looks great but 17large???? Don't know 'bout that. I'd like to hear an opinion from someone that knows prices. Kustommusic

Yeah, I don't think so. For that amount I wouldn't expect a rusty chain and oil leaks around the cam end cover.
It's rare, complete,
and there's an ass for every seat,
but I still don't see his price as
ever going to compete!

Well, one bidder offered $5k. While I wouldn't give that much for it, a CB92 IS a very rare bike and commands a very high price. They have been a pretty sought after bike, for years. First Honda I ever saw, was a CB92 125 Benly Super Sport and it was on an asphalt race track. That bike was tearing that track up too and it sounded Beautiful while doing it! I was stationed at Misawa AFB in Japan (Dec 67-Dec69) and I tried to find and buy one while I was there, with no success. I only saw one and it wasn't for sale! Regular Dreams, Super Hawks and Scramblers are far more plentiful than the CB92s. There's a fellow over on the SOHC4 site who has 2 of them and knows the the history behind them way better than I do.

Later on, Bill

The price of a CB92 (early) is in mint condition in Europe 12.500 Euro.
The CB92R (very rare) is even more expensive and hard to find.
I just bought a brand new CB92
This is the top of my collection.

CB92

I once bought a new CB92 while stationed at Iwakuni, Japan. It was the red model and we (the dealer) managed to put the GP kit in/on it. It was pretty quick for a 125 at the time. Wish I had it today. Only thing quicker was a well ridden 125 kitted Yamaha twin. Had one of those also. First Honda was a 125 of 1956 vintage and next was a 1958 250 Dream (new also) dry sump that we converted to a 305. Las nice one I've seen was one Bill Orizio had up at Mid Ohio for $8500 back about 6-7 years ago. It was a really nice bike. Have had an eye out for just a gas tank for several years now. Want to build a "street racer" out of one of my CL77's. Charlie
