CL77 muffler removal

What is the best way to remove the original muffler from a set of scrambler pipes.
Did it just slip on originally. I do not want to damage the muffler or rubber seals.

Yes it just slides on...if it's stuck set it in the sun to warm up & spray it real good with wd40 to loosen it up
