Hi
Is there supposed to be a rubber seal under the battery and tool covers? it seems like there is a recess for it. If so where can I obtain?
regards
Greg

Yes and you will have to make your own. I use rubber roofing scraps to make mine.

They make thick rubber mats for lining battery compartments that you can cut to fit. The last one I got was from J.C. Whitney but if you Google "battery mat" you will find other options.

Ray,
I don't think he is talking about a battery mat. I believe he is talking about the right side battery cover and the left side distribution cover on a CA77 Dream. The covers have recesses for a strip of rubber that looks like a string of spaghetti, for the lack of a better description.

Yes HT
There is a groove that looks like it takes some type of seal.
Can you provide a source for a substitute

Yes, we have different thicknesses of rubber roofing. You'll have to scrounge something up, maybe try to use a windshield wiper refill rubber blade trimmed as necessary. I think inner tube rubber may be too thin but can possibly double it up. It's on you so let us know what you end up with.
