Looks like the previous owner added a 1/4" ( ? ) bearing in first…. then the clutch rod.
had a mechanic remove the small ball bearing with a long thin magnet. then put the clutch rod back pointy end in first, then the 5/16" ball in the threaded clutch adjuster, popped the case back on. no problems definately shifts better.
The mechanic adjusted the clutch but still can't find neutral with the bike running. guess I'll try readjusting the clutch until I find the sweet spot. will update you soon.
