Put all stock brass back in, especially needles. Second groove from bottom is where the clip should be. Set the float level with LM's line of sight methods, works like a charm!!!

BTW, bike looks great!
Bike won't stay running
Starts with choke on - will it run with the choke on or partially on?
Once it stops will it restart immediately or do you have to wait a few minutes?
Several things I have noticed about my 305 -
If the float bowls are full it will run for 30 to 60 seconds with the gas off.
Most will run one one cylinder - meaning this is happening to both sides.
Sounds like not getting enough fuel - floats set way to low - main jet plugged - but it is happening on both sides which would be unusual for both carbs to be plugged -

ok, everything in the carb changed back to original hardware, set up the floats after talking to Ed, everything should be good to go right? haha, nope. I can't get it to fire at all now. I am not getting gas even though I just took apart the carbs, cleaned everything again, and blew out with compressed air. I need to take a break---and then get back to it later.
Thanks guys, I know it should run---I am missing something small obviously.
