How do I tell what year my bike is?
It has these numbers on it: CA77E 402477
It also has a small HM #8 next to the oil fill port for the gearcase. The HM is inside a little circle.
Thanks.

Your engine is a 1964 engine. Your frame number will be your guide, especially if someone replaced your engine in the past. Frame number is stamped vertically on the left side of the frame near where the lower engine mount bolt goes through. May have to clean some dirt or grease to view it. There was just a recent post with photos on the Honda Dream CA72/CA77 model forum.
