The engine was stuck, I broke it free shortly after it came home. Pulled the carbs and replaced with a clean set, changed the oil, and lit it off moments ago. It runs, no strange noises. Smoked a bit on startup then settled in with no smoke. Might be a good one.
Frame paint is decent enough for a clean up. Might just paint the fenders, side covers and tank. Got to see if I have another seat with trim.

Restore or not? Since it's purchase it looks like a topend will be needed. I have nos std pistons and rings so I think I'll order a pair of Tim's sleeves. Deal is in the works for a right hand muffler as this one is rotted away. Tuesday a little horse trading scored a red chain guard. Yesterday I sent a rough, rolling '62 CB77 frame down the road for a red gas tank.
Been doing some cleanup on it, it shows it's age but is pretty decent. So I'm kind of torn between a restoration or just a good cleaning.....................................
Last picture is my '66 SHawk in original condition other than nos rear fender and a repaint of the front fender and sidecovers.
