A manual will help but your level of expertise it will be marginal. It seems you have limited knowledge of things mechanical. You jump to conclusions without considering the possibilities - Probably because you don't know the possibilities. This knowledge comes with experience which you may get over time. I suspect most of the folks on this site are part of the "older" more experienced crowd.
Before you ask a series of questions or jump to incorrect conclusions you need to "ponder" awhile. As far as I can see you have managed to fit "loud pipes" and screw-up everything else.

Well thank you for the vote of confidence. You're right, I don't have good mechanical skills as of now. I am still quite young and am learning as I go. I post on this forum to learn more from others. I haven't screwed anything up yet. Nothing is broken as of now. An update to my predicament is the air cleaner is missing all together. This could be the culprit of a few things.
A missing air filter will usually make the bike run lean which is the opposite of what you are reporting. If you put the air filter in your problems may get worse...
Don't expect it to fix anything unless everything else is correct.

You do not have an Amal carburettor but the principle is the same for all carbs....

Unlikely the air cleaner is the root of your problems. Gas soaked plugs are the result of carb problems. Float level too high, wrong main jets (probably not this) or float sticking or something in the needle and seat. Does the fuel line have a filter? If not immediately install one.
Drain a small amount of fuel into a small glass container and see if there is "junk" in the fuel. Small rust particles can hang up the needle and seat resulting a too rich mixture and plug fouling.
...And make sure the choke is off. Mine tends to run a bit rich and is easy to flood if you use too much choke,
