All was going well until this happened. I started tightening the left corner bolt and it twisted completely off. I guess I will need to get that thing out of there---Ed said to just grab it with a good vice grip and it will twist out. FUN FUN

Oh, fudge!!! I'm sorry that happened. Ed is probably right, it should come right out.
You do know that the head bolts only take 12 to 14 foot pounds of torque?

I would drop a nut over what's left of the stud and weld the hole full, then while it's still warm back it out with a wrench. Might help to warm up that corner of the case as much as you can first.

Ok, I got it out---just used a vice grips and it came out. I hope the other one comes out and I can swap them. My nerves are at the end. Haha
