Can anyone tell me the difference between the two parts above? (Gear, Low 35T)
The dogs on mine are rounded, and while looking up the part I found Honda used 2 part numbers. My '64 CA has engine CA77E-1056xx (frame CA78-1056xx) and so would use the earlier -000 part (manual says it's used through CA77E-1033686 with the -020 part used after that), but I want to know if there's a way to tell them apart from photos I see on the web. Also, are they interchangeable? I've seen someone selling a -000 part that "came off a 1969 CA77" so it's either a mistake or someone had swapped the original tranny for an older model. Right?

The difference might only be in the forging/machining on the side with the dogs. I have a good used one I just relisted on ebay for $10 if you're interested.

For some reason I never saw your reply. Thank you for the info/offer. I had already begun bidding on an NOS -020 part on eBay. I won and it should be here tomorrow or Sat. If I need a different one I'll contact you!
