I have my 65 dream up and running. road it to work.
Problem is when I pull in clutch it sounds like a woodpecker. and when I up shift and throttle it just revs up for a second then it starts moving forward. What's up with that?

Help
Bill,
Don't know about the throttling part you mention, but I'd pull the clutch side cover to check on the woodpecker. Possibly a clutch pack bolt backing out or something of that nature. You mentioned you're dream is "up and running"...what did ya have done?

When you shift and the rpms go up then starts to go down sounds like a slipping clutch.
Think of it this way when you release the clutch the plates should be closed if something is preventing them from closing that could be your noise.
I would start at the clutch cable and work my way back to the clutch.
