CA77 Speedo Wiring

On the schematic from this site it shows a brown wire going to one side of the speedo lamp...along with a ground.

My bike has a blue and green wire to two lamps under the speedo, I assume one is for high beam. What is the correct hook up of the green and blue lamp wires? I have everything else working. I was thinking of splicing the one directly into the headlamp circuit....short of info.

Blue is high beam, and should plug in to the blue wire on headlight. Green is back lighting for speedo, and should come on with the headlight.
