What year is my bike???

hey everyone,

i'm new here and i just got a hold of a cb77E, but i have no idea what year it is, it has the first generation speedo and the serial number is 313395. Does anyone have some literature on years of these bikes? if so what year is my bike? any help would be useful.

Wells, Welcome to the 305 forum. By the serial number it sounds like an older one. If you look thru the threads on the board you should find many with the same question. Now does the serial numbers work as such.....100000 to 1961, 200000 to 1962 and so on?

The numbers change as the years the bikes were issued and yours is a 63. ................lm

Okay now i have another question,

is there a website or some literature where I can find out other years of hondas based on serial numbers?

here it is, it ain't pretty, but I got it free. A good friend of my father's recently passed away and his brother gave it to us.
