Cheap CB77 mufflers

Post by chrisnoel » Wed Jul 11, 2012 9:19 pm

Looking for any decent, new, set of mufflers that will fit the CB77 and work well enough with jetting. I can re-jet fairly well but I don't want open megaphones requiring radical jetting.

I met someone at a MC show in Golden CO the suggested JP Cycles has mufflers that will fit the bill but I don't know how to look them up. Tried to google JP Cycles and navigate the links I found but I didn't see anything that would fit vintage mc's

Any links or dirrections would be great. Thanks, Chris.

These seem to be the best bang for the buck for a daily rider. I just put a set on this spring and have been happy with them so far. If you search the archives you will find info on these and some installed pics.

Thanks! Looks like they'll fit the bill perfectly. I assume I'll need the 1 1/2" reducer but it looks to be included. Would you happen to know if the mounting hardware works well without mods or if I'm right about the 1 1/2" reducer? Reguardles I'm sure these are what I'm after.

The reducers and clamps are included with the mufflers. No major mods required to install. I did some minor tweeking on the rear support brackets for proper clearance.
