clutch adjuster
clutch adjuster
when the clutch adjuster is at 3:00 I can't get the side casing back on, but when it is at 12:00 it goes on and the clutch seems to work fine. Is this normal? What is the correct position before adjusting?

Re: clutch adjuster
To be expected given the way you are going about it. Don't turn the adjuster inward in such a fashion as to engage the clutch until after you have the cover bolted back on. You are working against the clutch springs when you don't need to.
