Does anyone have experience never using their electric start? I took mine off to lighten the bike and get rid of a few bulky wires (cafe look) and I can't start the bike just with the kick start. I have to put back on the electric start to get it to run, but once it's hot I can kick it to start it up.
Reall don't want to have the electric start.

I have kick start only, and find the bike really sensitive to timing.
I can't recall which way is the problem, but just a little bit off and its really hard to kick start.
I also always need full choke.
With the timing right and full choke, I regularly get it started in a 3-5 kicks, even when its below 40.
