So looks like the only tricky part is the kick start. I wanna tear into it today, but I can't find a manual. I can purchase a CD-ROM, but I wanna do this today and really, in 2012, I'd find it hard to believe there isn't a pdf copy of a 40+ year old manual floating around somewhere online. Anyone got one?
Thanks.

Forget the manual. It ain't rocket science. Tear into it, keep track of what came from where, take pics, and ask questions here. Way better than a vague manual.

Tore into it today. I also had to remove the right-side muffler to get the side cover off, my mufflers have a bracket on the inside of them that mounts them to a hole in the side cover, couldn't get the cover off without removing the muffler.
Realized the cable I bought isn't the right size. The inner cable looks to be approximately the same but the housing is about 1/2" longer. As a result, when I installed the cable it pulled the clutch way out, even with both adjusters all the way in. That doesn't seem right at all.I'll be heading back to Charlie's Place tomorrow to see if they have the right size cable.
Pretty easy stuff. But what's with this clutch adjustment? I can't seem to find anything searching the forums. Can anyone point me to a particular thread? Is it really that complicated? Charlie made it out to seem like it is, but he does that with everything, trying to up the shop time ya know? :) I've adjusted the clutch cable on my honda s90, really easy. But this thing on the cb77 that needs a giant screwdriver. what's with that?
Thanks.

Adjust each end of the cable full in.
At the adjuster loosen the bolt and turn the adjuster clockwise to stop then back 1/8 inch and tighten the bolt.
Adjust to 1/4 inch 3/8 inch lever slack at the pivot point. ..............lm
