Obvious or otherwise?
Going to remove the chain, pipes, stator wires, electonic ignition plate, carbs, right side cover and kicker, clutch cable, left shifter, and anything else that looks obvious.
Any special order in removing the bolts?
I am going to use a regular two fork motorcycle lift for the engine.
I assume the bike will just stay put on the center stand when the engine comes out.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi,
Clean the engine before opening up.
Spray penetrating oil on all bolts you need
to loose and let it sit for a few days.
Make sure you have a good screwdriver
and apply some valve grinding paste on the tip,
or better, use a diamond tipped screwdriver.
In almost every case I get them all out, re-usable,
Jensen
