I went to Lowes and picked up these springs, which are the same diameter, but a bit longer.
Put them in my CB77 and my slides are much less sticky.
The throttle pull is a little heavier, but when I let go, I am sure the slides are down all the way.
The new ones are outside, old inside.
Maybe a bad idea, or maybe a fix for someone out there.
