Very nice looking bike. Especially for $2K. Based upon recent sales, though, I doubt anyone could find as clean a bike as that (assuming of course that the pics are doing it justice and it's mechanically sound) for anything under $3500 right now. Probably more in the $3500-4000 range.

In fact, I'll make a standing offer. If anyone has a bike that clean that they are willing to sell me for $2,000, I will buy them all. :-)

Be patient the deals are out there. I got this Dream for $2000.00 in flint MI. It sat in the sloan museum for 5 years. Needed the starter switch fixed, new seat cover, the high beam re soldered, and a ground for the rear tail light.

After seeing your bike I now realize how badly I need my cases polished. Dammit.

Thanks guys, Its not mint, but pretty close. The story is the seller had restored this bike in late 90's or so, put it for sale in Flint Mi 3 years ago for about 4000.00 initially, economy was at a low. Then he reposted it for 2500.00 to unload it, i contacted him right away. Told him im on my way up, but would like to know its running. He had to fix the petcock, and get a battery, the starter button was stuck on and as soon as he connected the battery it fired up. scared him half to dead. He calls me back and says it runs but the starter is stuck and he's done messing with it, if i come today he will let it go for 2000.00. So im like, ok ill be there in 6 hours ha ha. Indy to Flint. No oil leaks, runs perfect. I have white bucos on it now.

i dont want to hi jack the thread with anymore pics but here are a couple links. Maybe this will help motivate you, Clofan, to get a great deal!!

pics at the Expo all shined up.

Again all this to say the deals are out there you just have to search search search. Good Luck!!

I had to make around a 12 hour round trip to get mine also. It was advertised for sale and I made an offer for $1100 knowing it was the next state over but not realizing it was as far as it was, LOL.

I got you beat. 16 hour round trip from So Cal to No Cal. Worth it, though, I think. Now if only I could get someone to deliver me a damn crank seal I'd be in business.
