1968 Honda 305 scrambler

Hello, I have just acquired a 1967 Honda 305 scrambler for free, it has been sitting outside in the weather since 1980, (it definitely looks like it) the engine is seized. Any ideas on how to unseeze it? Withouth tearing the whole thing apart?

If its been outside since 1980 you are probably going to have to tear the whole thing apart anyway.

Welcome to the forum! Please edit in your location on your profile. You may have a fellow member close by. Like Handa said, most likely a tear down. You can try pouring a 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone in the spark plug holes.

I have a frozen engine and nothing I could do would free it up. Just went ahead and bought a set of oversized pistons/pins/rings and the top end gaskets. Now just have to find someplace to gert it bored out and redo it. Big PITA, but has to be done. Bike has fresh paint and is complete even with an uncut front fender and rear. Been thinking about selling it as is, but...................................?
