My whole rear wheel fell off my bench while I was working on it today and the below damage resulted. Just was wondering if this was fixable or am I looking at replacing the rear hub.
And before anyone asks yes I feel like an idiot.
OUCH! Is this rear hub fixable?

I had the same thing happen, well sort of. I was polishing out my hubs and the polishing wheel grabbed the hub right out of my grip. It threw the hub a good distance in the garage. When I retrieved it, I saw a chunk like yours missing. I had someone "fix it". But, it broke again in the same spot. In the end, I paid for the fix, that didn't hold, and eventually I paid for a replacement hub. Just my two cents.
Putting them back isn't hard. Getting them true is the trick. I'd do the spokes myself and then take the rim to a shop to have it trued up.
I've only done a few but I did my last one pretty much as you show here. I took a pic and then put the spokes back just like in the pic.
There may be easier ways. LOL

Truing up?
When you have the spokes trued up can the tires be on ?
