Correct Badge?emblemsI just watched a couple sets of the correct badges go on ebay. I could use a new right side one so I browse ebay for them. Anyway, just saw a beautiful NOS set go for $335 a week ago then saw a almost perfect used set go for $275. The originals are beautiful but be prepared to spend some bucks. You can get the same ones you have right now new for about $45. -Erich
Re: emblemsI sell the metal ones for $35.00 to your door. ............lm
Correct BadgesFor 305 Dreams I believe you need to consult your frame number. If it begins with CA77 your badges should say "Dream 300". If your frame number begins with CA78 your badges should say "300".
The change in frame numbers apparently occurred sometime mid 1963. Per Bill Silver, the "300" badges have a 279 product code in the middle of the part number which indicates a C78. This corresponds with the change from the early to late tanks, too. That is, a CA77 should have an early tank (no seam) and "Dream 300" badges. A CA78 should have a late tank with the seam and "300" badges.
Re: Correct BadgesQuestion.
What did the 1962/64 CL72 badges show?. .......lm
Re: Correct BadgesI haven't done any research on the CL72 at all. CA77/CA78 has kept me busy enough. The 250 and 305 export Dreams were a different animal. No "A" for export with the CB's or the CL's that I am aware of. Anyone know why? If anyone disagrees with what I have said I hope you will straighten me out for everyone's benefit. The '64 CA72 I just bought has these badges.
