Some sellers have the wrong picture for 18391-259-000 There is some one Ebay now in Thailand.

The early issue looked like a Sleeve with a Large end.
It was red but was changed to black.
The next issue was a red "O" ring sort of seal then that was was changed to black. ............lm

I've seen the gasket you describe on the CB160 pipes, between the header and the muffler. The number for the early CA77 is a 18391-259-000 PACKING, MUFFLER but the images I see for that is the red gasket you describe. The same part for the dry sump models (C75 and C76) is 18391-250-000 C70 PACKING, MUFFLER and looks like what you describe. You probably need to measure the diameter of your part to verify it's the 250/305 size and not the smaller 150/160 size. I'm guessing the part number you have doesn't actually match the part...
