Flywheel puller

Post by sneedleman » Sat Jan 28, 2012 10:01 am

Anyone know where I can find one of these? Need to get it off to see why starter clutch is not engaging.
Thanks Steve

puller

A bolt of 16 mm by 1.5 mm pitch will work or another option is a chain breaker tool from Harbor Freight. The large bolt, part of the tool, works as a rotor puller also. Two tools in one. Now, I'm sure some here are opposed to buying cheap foreign crap from them but you are hard pressed to find much that isn't brought from overseas these days. Rusty

just did mine by getting the bolt from Brofasco (a big bolt dealer here in Canada) It's not a very common one, but, it was $5 here. works like a charm.
