Today I was finally able to take my bike out for a little 30 mile voyage. I was stopped 3 times by car/motorcycle enthusiast who asked if they could take a picture. Then, at a few stop lights, a few ladies commented on how pretty she was, and one guy, started a conversation about what a classic and amazing piece of history it is and about his Scrambler, but after the light turned green, I had to go lol. I took my son some lunch at a local bike (BMX) indoor park, and kids of all ages came to look. It is truly amazing to have something that reminds people of simpler times. Here's a couple of pictures of my finished project. Thanks to all who helped us along the way! I guess you really do meet some of the nicest people on Hondas! (Cheers)

Looks fabulous Kellie! Your and Bruces hard work really paid off! All I ever get is old dudes checking out my bikes. :-) I even had one follow me home the other day!

Thanks Davo! Bruce did all the hard work, I just shopped for the parts, chose the paint, and showed him pictures of the look I was going for. He is the one that made the magic happen.

I guess if your a guy, old dudes might be a bummer, but since im an old gal.... lol. I had a local police officer pull me over on my CA95 a few years ago, and I was newly licensed with my M2. I was so nervous. Comes to find out he pulled me over to look at my bike. He never even asked to see my license or anything. I told him about the Dream and he said when he sees me again on the Dream he will probably pull me over again to check that one out too. The only thing I can tell that we need to fix soon, is the clutch plates are slipping in third gear. So that will need to be fixed. Other than that, she's good to go!

Davo, let me know when there's another bike ride. I'd love to attend!

Cool, I'll keep you posted! I just sold my 64 CB77 to a fellow forum member, delivering it tomorrow to San Francisco. For now, I only have the red 67 CB77. I have an appointment at the DMV on Friday to start the registration process. That's easily my least favorite part of restoring these bikes! I have 63 CB77 matching #s bike that I will start on as soon as I finish some other projects.
