I'll give ya my feelings.
HONDA knew how to build and paint a bike which was Very Popular and Sold like crazy.
Ya want to change it to the way ya would like it.
Ya can bet until ya find a buyer that likes Your idea ya can/may/will devalue your project. .....lm

I agrree with Ed. Paint it like origional, and it will keep it's resale value, and be easy to sell. Paint it another color, and it's yours! I do customs, but the entire bike is custom, and built for me, not to resell. On restorations, I try to make them as origional as possible.

I have to agree that original is my preferred way to go, too. Plus, I just think that silver is the best look for the tank and side covers on that bike. No offense to those who have other original colors, but the candy colors just don't look right to me. And when I see one that's been painted some custom colors, I never seem to like it like I like the original silver. Only exception is I do prefer a cleared and hence glossy silver over the more matte silver that came on them.

regards,
Rob

Chrome

Ok, I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything but here it is---I finally have had the chrome done and it turned out really nice I think. When I got the boxes home it was like Christmas morning---except I had to pay for all the gifts myself!
