I am looking for tune-up information on a 305 CA77. There must be a way to search this form for that information, but for some reason I can find it.
All I need is the Point and plug gap and the timing information
Thanks

Just go here : http://honda305.com/cb77_700/cb77-716.htm
For future reference just click on the FAQ link on the left hand menu.
You'll find what you need there. This is LOUDMOUSE's tuning technique. Works every time.
Assuming you have compression, clean carbs with proper jets, and a good battery and electrics.

This procedure will work all though you are only dealing with one carb and one set of points.I knew nothing about these bikes two years ago when I drug mine out of a collapsed barn and got it to run and I never worked on a bike before.Like the procedure states just get your points gap set, set them to open on the F mark. There is only one "F" for the right points so do not get confused by rotating around 180 degrees to other timing mark.Have a good set of plugs.Make sure the carb is clean.Float seat and needle can usaully have issues from sitting so make sure it seals ok or does not stick shut and you should be able to get it started if you have spark no other mechanical problems in the top end.
