65 CL 77 Kick Starter Joint

The kick starter joint on my 65 CL77 has cracked. It's the coupling joint and not the kick start arm. I had the local welding shop TIG the crack, but the splines are still slipping around the shaft - thus unable to kick it. Any thoughts on a replacement or conversion ? Thanks in advance ! Also tried ebay and parts forum on this site to no avail.

Part no is 28241-259-000
