Morning Gents: I want to clean up my spokes. Question is: Would it be better to pull a few out at a time,clean and reinstall? I don't want to mess with balancing and such... My gut tells me it would be better to do it this way... Any suggestions on the easiest way to do it would be appreciated..

What do ya plan on cleaning them with?. ......lm

ED: Got half of them done--18 more to go. Using steel wool,fine wire wheel and then rubbing compound. Very slow process but they look like new.. I have been doing 5 at a time then reistalling.

Ya have removed the Zinc plating. . .............lm

Leave them alone or re-plate them. ....................lm

Phosphoric dip then scrub with scotchbrite pad, triple rinse then zinc plate.
