CL77 Gear Shift lever
Hi all, I would like to replace my gear lever with one from a CA77. I could cut off the rear heel portion and have it rechromed. The CL77 lever is pretty hard on my shoes/boots what with the knobbed surface on the bottom. From looking at pictures of some Dreams here it looks like one of theirs would fit fine. Has anyone here changed the levers out? Thanks, Tim in Florida
Tim,
The CB lever won't work. It uses linkage to attach to an arm that goes on the splines. A piece of rubber hose can be slid over the end of the shifter, or type "honda shifter" into an Ebay search, and try to match something up.

Replaced!
well, I got a CA77 shift lever and it works fine. Incidentally, while searching the forum I viewed the beautiful bikes that forum member teerkat has posted. His CL77 has a heel toe shifter but the front is the same as all the scramblers I have seen with the knobs on top and bottom so that is the only one I have seen so far. Great forum and thanks to all who post and reply here. Tim
