12v denso "B" vs. "C" ignition coil

My CL72 came with two 12 v Denso "B" coils. (so marked on bottom of the coils). One was bad so I bought a replacement used on ebay. The bottom of it has a "C" instead of the "B".

What does that mean?
Is there a difference between B and C?
